My name is Cindy Cross. I am the proud owner of PotterDane Cross Country Kennel. We got our first Dane, Betsy Lou, after the unexpected loss of my husband and father to my children in 2007. She was such a blessing and an important part of our healing process. One of the main reasons that I breed Danes is so that I might possibly offer the same blessings to others. During my journey in raising Danes I have attended more than 300 hours of training that encompass health, well-being, conformation, obedience and reproduction. My breeding program is designed to produce quality companions with outstanding temperament and conformation. My breeding stock are health tested by my veterinarian and have OFA certifications. They also hold at least one conformation title before breeding. I currently have two breeding females, one of which is a granddaughter to our original Betsy Lou. I have one male. He holds 6 conformation titles, including two International Champion titles. He was awarded the 2017 Champion of Champions with the American Canine Association in May of 2017 and he is a Canine Good Citizen with the American Kennel Club. I also have a retired mama who is enjoying life.
We enjoy participating in conformation shows, obedience trials, and beginners agility.
