My name is Cindy Cross. I am the proud owner of PotterDane Cross Country Kennel. We got our first Dane, Betsy Lou, after the unexpected loss of my husband and father to my children in 2007. She was such a blessing and an important part of our healing process. One of the main reasons that I breed Danes is so that I might possibly offer the same blessings to others. During my journey in raising Danes I have attended more than 400 hours of training that encompass health, well-being, conformation, obedience and reproduction. My breeding program is designed to produce quality companions with outstanding temperament and conformation. My breeding stock are health tested, genetic tested and have OFA certifications. They are also evaluated by at least one conformation judge before breeding. We are proud to announce that we are now five generations deep with the great-great-granddaughter to our original Betsy Lou. Cloey (4th generation) had made her depute in the International Show ring. At 14 months old she earned her second International Conformation title. At this show she earned 4 Best of Breed Open, 4 Best of Breed Bred By Exhibitor and 3 Best In Group Breed By Exhibitor. Cloey has since earned other conformation titles along with obedience and rally titles. We are eagerly watching her daughter, Paisley (5th generation), perform. Before her first birthday Paisley has earned an APRI Champion Title and UKC Champion Title.
We enjoy participating in conformation shows, obedience trials, and beginners agility.
